A Viral eBook
is one containing one or more links
to a marketer’s website
. To ensure a widespread
distribution of his links he gives
the ebook away to certain individuals including the right
to either give it away themselves for free or selling it
(resell
rights);
they then pass it along to other individuals. It thus
goes on and on... Part of this strategy can be to allow
everyone to rebrand some or all of the links with his
own affiliate
links as an
incentive for a wide distribution.
For example to promote a new software product you could write
an ebook about the software, it’s most important features and
how it can solve a specific problem for people or make their
life easier. Give the ebook away for free, allow everyone who
takes it to join your affiliate
program and make it easy for him to customize the link
to your sales
page with
his own affiliate link. For him this would mean that the
more he distributes his customized Viral eBook the
more affiliate
commission
he
would earn which provides a very strong motivation to
distribute his copy as wide as
possible.
