Two-tier Program:
In a two-tier program affiliates earn commissions for the sales they have generated themselves plus for the sales of other affiliates they have referred in the program. Certain two-tier programs even reward you for each new affiliate you invite without him having made any sales yet. Before joining such a program make sure it’s not an illegal pyramid scheme.
[Tier comes from Old French tire = sequence, rank, order;
Program is from Latin programma = public notice, which goes back to Greek pro = forth and graphein = to write]
