Resell Rights:

If you buy an ebook or a software with Resell Rights you have the right to sell as many copies of it as you want to the price you want and keep 100% of the money. This Resell Right does not touch the copyright which means you may not change the content or the source code in any way. You have to sell the product as is.

Sometimes authors offer Resell Rights as an extra offer to the purchase of their book for an extra charge. Very often, however, Resell Rights are part of the offer, even when a book is given away for free (if you got a free ebook from the author or from someone with the Resell Right, it doesn’t mean automatically that you can give it away for free unless Resell Rights are expressly part of the ebook). In this case the book contains links to the author’s website or his affiliate links and he’s interested in a wide distribution of it. This would be an example of a viral ebook.

(see also under master resell rights)

[ Resell comes from re- = back or again and Old English sellan = to give (in exchange for money);

Right is from Middle English riht = just, fair and goes back to Indo European base reg- = to move in a straight line]
