Marketing:


Marketing comprises all the actions involved in producing a product , exchanging it and getting it delivered. It includes conceiving the product and the market research to establish demand or potential demand, the actual production and packaging, the promotion to create a sufficient want, the selling and the shipping.

Everything which contributes to creating a positive public image for the product is a valuable Marketing activity. This can be achieved by advertisement, by impressive packaging, by high product quality, by competent and friendly customer service and more. All this would come under the heading of Marketing.
