Classified Ad:

A form of advertising which, in its offline form, is particularly common in newspapers. A Classified Ad (also sometimes referred to in the shortened form Classified) mostly consists of a short text. In Internet Classifieds you sometimes have a picture in print media very seldom. The only information given is what item is sold, a few of it’s features and a contact phone number or address in offline media or a link in online Classifieds. Very often Classified Ads are sorted into different categories (real estate, automotive, electronics etc.).

Classified Ads exist since there are newspapers and they still have value for an Internet marketer as it is one of the cheaper methods to promote a product.
